Bio

MARION JERKINS 1926 - 2010 Marion Jerkins, 84, of Pensacola, passed away on June 27, 2010. She was originally from Robertsdale, AL but has made Pensacola her home since the 1950s. Marion retired from Monsanto in 1981. She loved working in her garden and being with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Bubba and Malvin Jerkins. Survivors include her daughters, Rose Miller and Marsha Larsen; and son, Kenneth Jerkins. She was grandmother of eleven, great-grandmother of twenty-two, and great-great-grandmother of seven. She will be missed by her family and friends. Trahan Family Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Court, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service begins at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2010, all at Trahan Family Funeral Home's chapel. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Elsanor, AL.
