Bio

Olive O. Darter, 85, of 408 N. Anderson died at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital late Wednesday night. She was born April 15, 1889 at Red Cloud, Neb. She came to Ellensburg in 1907 from Joplin, Mo. She and Guy H. Darter were married in Ellensburg on Oct. 29, 1910. Mr. Darter preceded her in death in 1969. She was a member of the New Testament Christian Church and the Miriam Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Marian Darter, with whom she made her home and Mrs. Emma(name missing), both of Ellensburg; (missing) grandsons and one great granddaughter and one sister, Mrs. Lillie Hunter of Everett. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Evensons Chapel. The Reverend (missing) Jones will officiate. Burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery.
