Married March 29, 1941. Martha Sue Clawson, 84, of Moberly died March 3, 2005 at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia. Visitation will be held at Million-Taylor Funeral Home, Moberly from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 5. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at the funeral home, with burial immediately following in Oakland Cemetery. Martha was born December 25, 1920 in Moberly to Paul and Ruby Hackett. She graduated from Moberly High School in 1938 and married Thomas Marion Clawson on March 29, 1941. Her parents, a brother Gene Hackett and her husband Thomas Marion Clawson preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Rudy Meyer of Moberly; a daughter Carole Ellis of Columbia; four grandchildren: Kathy Meyer of Lebanon, Tammy Eck of O'Fallon, Mike Ellis of O'Fallon and Jeremy Ellis of Tipton; five great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Kara and Melissa Ellis and Katie and Thomas Eck of O'Fallon; one sister Virginia Kehoe of Moberly; one half-sister Barbara Ray and two half-brothers Tom Hackett of Moberly and Sam Hackett of Illinois, and a number of nieces and nephews.
