On the 1850 census, Moses "Moon" (16) is living in Sangamon, Illinois with Josiah Broadwell (stepfather - 55), Rachel Broadwell (mother - 39), siblings Elijah (18), "Delia" (14), John (12), and Ann (11) and half-siblings Cyrus Broadwell (4) and Geo Broadwell (2). On the 1860 census, M Moore (24) was living in Subdivision 17, Sangamon, Illinois with J Broadwell (stepfather - 64), R L Broadwell (mother - 49), C Broadwell, G Broadwell (12), and J Broadwell. Moses married Leonora C Crowder on February 24, 1870. On the 1870 census, Moses H Moore lived in Ball, Sangamon, Illinois with wife "Catharine". On the 1880 census, "Moses Moor" lived in Gardner, Sangamon, Illinois with wife "Catharine", daughters Annie E. (8), Mary (5), Louella (3), and stepfather Josiah Broadwell (84). On the 1900 census, Moses Moore lived in Collin Co., Texas and is shown as being born in September, 1835 in New Jersey. Also in the home with him were his wife "Cathrine" (46), son John R. (13), and daughter Laura (11). On the 1910 census "Lenora" Moore is widowed and living in McKinney, Collin Co., Texas with son Johnie (23) and granddaughter Louella Ellenburg (6). In 1920, the Ellenburg family is living on McKinney and Milwood Road, perhaps on the very farm where Leulla was living with her grandmother in 1910.
