Henry August Hattermann Jr. son of Henry August Sr. and Sophia Hattermann.Henry August Hattermann Jr. married Lena Matzke on November 6,1918. __________________________ Hy. A. Hattermann,Prominent Farmer,Buried Here June 5 Funeral services for Henry August Hattermann,Jr.,prominent farmer of the Borden vicinity for several decades,were held from the Hubbard Funeral Home here Thursday morning,June 5,the Rev.G. Wolf of Columbus officiating.Interment was in the Weimar cemetery here. Mr.Hattermann,a native of Oldenburg,Germany,came to this country with his parents in 1889,two years after his birth on January 14,1887,first settling in Holman.The last 30 years of his life have been spent at Borden.On November 6,1916,he married Miss Lena Matzke at Columbus.He died at his home June 3,after an illness of over eight months.He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church,Columbus. Surviving in addition to his widow,Mrs.Lena Hattermann,are his 87-year-old father and 80-year-old mother,Mr. and Mrs.,Henry Hattermann Sr.one son,Henry A. Hattermann III of Weimar;one daughter,Mrs.Arthur Schmitt of Alleyton;.....4 Grandchildren. Pallbearers at the funeral were John Heger,John Hajovsky,Ernest Otto,Jr.,John Emmel,Chas.
