Obituary: Louis Koliba The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Chapel in Corpus Christi for Louis Koliba, age 83 of Route 1. Another Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Buffington Funeral Chapel in Yoakum. Koliba died Yesterday Oct. 25, 1963 in a local hospital after a long illness. Koliba was well known in the Czechoslovakian community here. He was a retired farmer who had lived here since 1925. He was a member of St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Veronika; two sons, Felix and Edmund G. Koliba, both of Corpus Christi; a daughter, Mrs. Millie Wallace of Corpus Christi; and eight grandchildren. State Rep. Homer Koliba of Columbus, Texas was reared by Louis Koliba. Corpus Christi Caller Oct. 26, 1963 p12c Yoakum - Louis Koliba, age 83, died Saturday in Corpus Christi. Services will be held at Buffington Funeral Home Monday at 8:45 a.m. and at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Yoakum. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Rosary will br recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Buffington Chapel. Surviving are his wife, two sons and a daughter. Victoria Advocate, Sunday, Oct. 27, 1963.
