Obituary: Veronika C. Koliba Mrs. Veronika C. Koliba, age 93, Route 1, (South Staples), died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday July 28, 1974 at her home after a short illness. A native of Waelder, Texas, she lived in Yoakum before moving to Corpus Christi in 1925. She and her late husband, Louis, farmed south of the city. He died on Oct. 25, 1963. She was a member of the KJCT Lodge. She will lie in state at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home Chapel in Corpus Christi until 12 noon Monday. Her remains will be sent to Buffington Funeral Home in Yoakum where a Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday. Funeral Mass will be clebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday July 30, 1974 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Yoakum. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Millie Wallace; one son, Edmund G. Koliba; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Maxwell P.
