LITCHFIELD--Bobby D. Slocum, 29, died Sunday April 18, 1993, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Funeral services will be at 10 A.M. Tuesday at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Hazard with the Rev. Jan Smutny officiating. Burial will be in Litchfield Cemetery. A rosary will be at 8 P.M. Monday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Litchfield Emergency Unit. Rasmussen Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Slocum was born September 15, 1963, in Loup City, Nebraska, to Marvin and Arline (LeDroit) Slocum. He graduated from Litchfield High School in 1982. He then attended Hastings Community College. Mr. Slocum was employed at Coleman Powermate in Kearney. He was a member of Mid-Nebraska Bow Hunters. Mr. Slocum is survived by his mother of Litchfield; four brothers, Dick Hoffman, Jerry Hoffman and Greg Hoffman, all of Kearney, and Tim Hoffman of Loup City; a sister, Brenda Malsbury of Dennison, Iowa; and his grandparents, Mr. Mrs. Elwood Kratzer of Kearney. Mr. Slocum was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.
