Bio

Dick L. Hoffman, 61, of Kearney died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Litchfield Cemetery with the Rev. Shawn Kitzing officiating. He was born July 28, 1951, in Kearney to Darwin and Arline (LeDroit) Hoffman. Survivors include his son, Michael Workman of Denver; mother, Arline Slocum of Kearney; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Dianne Hoffman of Loup City and Greg and Pam Hoffman of Ravenna; and sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Kevin Malsbury of Aurora. He graduated from Broken Bow High School and attended Kearney State College in Kearney. He worked road construction all of his life in many places. He was preceded in death by his father and four brothers. Published in Kearney Hub on April 29, 2013
