Bio
John Green Starks Tackett - Mary Ann Driggers Green's mother was the second wife of his father, a sister of his first wife. Green Tackett's mother died a month after he was born in Coosa County, Alabama. G.A. Tackett married Miss Harriett L. Gaddis on 15 November 1877 at Montgomery County, Arkansas. She preceded him in death in 1886. G.A. Tackett married his second wife, Miss Mary Kelso of Colfax, Louisiana in 1888. There were three children born to the first wife and 10 children born to the second wife. Three children of the second wife preceded him in death. Presbyterian Tribute to G.A.
