Bio

Mack Calvin Tackett moved to Texas as a young man and settled first in Ellis County. He moved to Kaufman County after a few years and was engaged in farming in the area until 1942 when he moved to Young County, Texas. He returned to Kaufman County in 1964. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a member of the Bloomfield Lodge No 112 AF & AM of Kaufman. He was married two times and the father of two children. Survived by his wife; one daughter - Mrs. H.M. Priddy; one son - Archie Tackett; one step-daughter; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother - Jess Tackett; three sisters - Miss Lessye Tackett, Mrs. Louise Burns, Mrs. Eunice Rawlins.
