Bio
Earl A. Anliker, age 66, died on Sunday, February 13, 1994, at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 22, 1927, in Iowa, to Noah and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Anliker. He married Gladys I. Elbert on July 22, 1949. Earl was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Plain American Legion. Survivors include his wife Gladys of Spring Green; five children, Dennis (Sondra) Anliker of Plain, Keith (Renee) Anliker of Plain, Phyllis (Gerald) Wittmann of Plain, Janet (Robert) Shaftel of Atlanta, and Leland (Agnes) Anliker of Plain; 14 grandchildren; five sisters, Irene (Lyle) Rick, Hazel (Joseph) Moser, Leona (Donald) Lanus, Rachel (Dennis) Fuller, and Esther (Michael) Stiles; a brother, Daniel (Dolores) Anliker; and two sisters-in-law, Louise Anliker, and JoAnn (Gary) Harkin. He weas preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Alice and Helen Anliker; and three brothers, Raymond, Richard, and Paul Anliker. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 15, 1994, at 11:00 a.m. at ST. JOHN'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Spring Green. Father Kenneth Klubertanz officiated. Burial was in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, where military graveside rites were conducted by the Plain American Legion Post 398.
