Bio
Daughter of George and Loretta Garhart and wife of Max Taylor, married on November 25, 1938. They had five children. Dorothy is survived by her children, Edward and Margaret Taylor of Ulysses, NE, Edwin (and the late Gayla) Taylor of York, NE, Loretta (and the late Leo Walker) of Michigan, Donald Sr. and Sharon Taylor of York, NE, and Thomas Sr. and Donna Scheil of York. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and a large number of great and great great grandchildren; five sisters-in-law; and one brother-in-law. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Max; two brothers, Albert and Mike; four sisters, Ruby, Alice, Grace and Bertha; two grandchildren, Lisa Marie Walker and Thomas Lee Adam Scheil Jr. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a strong believer in God and was a loyal member of the Church of the Nazarene for over 30 years with only age and poor health keeping her away for the past few years. Dorothy was a strong woman who was loved by all and will be missed by many. We love you Mom / Grandma. We know God is always at your side.
