Bio
Donna Faye Scheil, 77, of York, NE passed on, Thursday, March 27, 2025. She was born September 19, 1947 in O'Neil, NE to Max and Dorothy (Garhart) Taylor. On December 18, 1965, she wed Thomas Scheil Sr and together they raised their family. Donna is a beloved mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sweets, classic television reruns, and demanding goodbye hugs from her grown grandchildren. Donna's family remembers her as a mother who endured hardships and heartbreak and a grandmother who delighted in the lives of her grandchildren. She is survived by her 4 children, a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law; as well as 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings and one sister-in-law; along with her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Tommy Jr, brother George Taylor and son-in-law Kevin Brown. Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, April 4, 2025 at the Metz Chapel in York with Pastor Tim Kilstrom officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.
