Printed in The Davis News on Jan. 10, 1991, Davis, Oklahoma; Used with permission BYRD NORMAN Funeral services for Mrs. Byrd Norman, 79, Sulphur, were January 7 at First Baptist Church, Sulphur, with Reverend Eddie Malphrus officiating. Interment was at Oaklawn Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Norman was born June 15, 1911 at Davis and died January 4 at Sandy, Utah. She lived all her life in Murray and graduated from Davis High School in 1929. She graduated from Texas State Women's College and received her Masters from University of Oklahoma, Norman. Mrs. Norman taught in the Sulphur School System for several years. She was a retired teacher and a member of First Baptist Church.
