(Jimmie) Tate Lynn Byrd Norman (Moses & Stella Ferguson's grandson) Printed in The Davis News on Jan. 8, 1987, Davis, Oklahoma; Used with permission MARY FERGUSON TATE Funeral services were held Dec. 30 at First Baptist Church for Mrs. Mary Ferguson Tate, 88, who died Dec. 28 at Salt Lake City, UT. Rev. Eddie Malphrus officiated. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery with arrangements by Clagg Funeral Home, Sulphur. Mrs. Tate was born Oct. 6, 1898 at Davis. She was married to W. M. Tate who preceded her in death in 1947. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a retired registered nurse. She had lived in this area most of her life. She graduated from Baylor University in Waco, TX and worked at the Delay Hospital and later as an R. N. at Callaway Nursing Home. She had made her home with her sister, Mrs. Byrd Norman of Sulphur, for the past 28 years. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Norman of Sulphur and Mrs. Ruth Moore of Hugo, and one niece, Mary Jane Kratochvil of Salt Lake City.
