Bio

An old resident of Petaluma has gone to that bourne from which no traveler returns. Rev. Jehu Barnes died Sunday morning at an advanced age. He had been failing for some time, gradually approaching the boundary line that separates this world from another, and at last exhausted nature gave up the struggle and death claimed its own. His funeral took place Monday from the Baptist church of which he was an honored Member. And so be departed, full of years, ready to go, having lived a long, useful, and Christian life.
