Lucinda b. 1846 5. Minerva Margaret "Mattie" b. 1848 6. James Valentine b. 1850 7. Eliza Louise b. 1852 -- #2 married,19 Jul 1853, Anderson Co,TX, Elizabeth "Betsey" Madden. Children: 1. Alice Virginia b. 1854 2. Lee Louanza "Lou" b. 1856 3. Sarah Frances "Fannie" b. 1858 4. Thomas Bonner b. 1859 5. Elizabeth b. 1862 6. Cornelia b. 1866 7. Ada Byron b. 1867 8. William Hill b. 1872 -- Cause of death: Fam tradition of his death (three versions which conflict) (1) He was taking a sick child [Fanny] to the doctor and died of a heart attack after returning to Pipe Creek, Bandera Co,TX. He is bur at Pipe Creek. (2) He died on a cattle drive to Kansas and is buried in the San Antonio area [since we found his marker, we know this isn't true]. BCB (3) Joseph was taking dau Sarah Frances "Fannie" to Doctor in Austin, TX - she had a growth on her eye- after arriving he came down with pneumonia and died.
