Dau of Joseph Lafayette & Elizabeth A "Betsey" (Madden) Stewart, married Albert Alexander Lyons 1 Nov 1883. -- TX Death Cert # 9819 incorrected shows her father as "Thomas Stewart" s/b Joseph Lafayette Stewart. -- TX Death Cert #9819 Cause of death: Arterio sclerosis, cerebral hemorrhage. -- All Joseph and Elizabeth Stewart's children were born at "Buzzard Roost" now known as Mel Rose, near Weesatche, DeWitt Co, TX. During this period there were not towns, just trading posts.
