DECATUR NEWSPAPER 1/1958 Services held in Decatur,Saturday for William Smith were held Saturday afternoon in a Decatur funeral home with interment in the Graceland cemetery. Mr. Smith passed away Wednesday of last week after an illness of several months. He was born in Sullivan, Dec.1,1893, the son of William H.Smith and Sarah Monroe Smith. He was a veteran of WWI. For the past 48 years he had lived in Decatur. Surviving him are his wife,two step daughters, a sister , Mrs. Lillie Traylor of Toldeo,two brothers,Logan of Oakley and Ed of Decatur, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
