Bio

MRS. LUTHER RUSSELL Mrs. Luther Russell died in the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs.William Smith,555 N. Church street at 1 oclock Monday morning. Death following an illness of two years of complications of diseases. Carrie E. Smith was born in Moultrie county,Aug 26, 1887. For the past 16 years she had lived in Decatur where she was a member of the Baptist church. She leaves her parents and three brothers, Logan,Ansel and Edward Smith all of Decatur and a sister, Mrs. Lillie Traylor of Terre Haute, Ind. The body was removed to the undertaking rooms of Moran & Son. Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30oclock this morning from the Moran chapel. Burial will be made in the cemetery at Dunn Station.
