Bio

BENJAMIN F. HARGROVE was born on 23 February 1833 in Alabama to James Hargrove and Rebecca Wells Higginbotham. Benjamin married Mary Eleanor Tippet on 27 Nov 1866 in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, and they had THREE children (that are known of): Guy Mortimer Hargrove (1867-1930), Pearl Hargrove-Stirling (1870-1890), and Gae Hargrove-Russell (1873-1960). Benjamin passed away on 12 December 1891 in Hopkins County, and was buried at Odd Fellow Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Hopkins county, Texas.
