Bio

Ozie came with her family to Quanah in 1906 from Denton county, Texas. On 24 Dec 1914 in Quanah, she married Charles Winfred Barker. They divorced and she worked as an ironer at the local laundry and as a seamstress. She was the mother of Dorothea Barker Shelton (1915-1980), C. W. Barker Jr., James W. Barker, and Lelois Charlena Barker Barnes Elder (1923-1988).
