Caroline was the daughter of Herman and Marie Haeberlein Wendland. She was baptized February 19, 1889. Her siblings were Bertha Melber, Julius, Catherine Dora, Margaretha Elise, Friedrich August (Fritz), Carl Heinrich and Martin Ernst Edwin. Carolline married Willie G. Dosky and their children were Edlin, Edith Rohde Hebbe, Edna, and Maria.
