Bio
Daughter of Damian "Tom" and Mary M. (Sueper) Zuerlein. She graduated from St. Francis High School. On May 1, 1934, she was united in marriage to Albert B. Pfeifer at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey. They were lifetime Humphrey community residents. She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband for many years. Margaret was a member of the cooking staff at St. Francis School Cafeteria, a member of the Christian Mother Society, St. Francis Ladies Quilters and Card Club. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, cards, quilting and crocheting and was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church. Survivors include her son, Milton (Bev) Pfeifer, of Humphrey; daughters, Mary (Art) Olmer, of Humphrey, Joan Fendrick, of Columbus, Corinne (John) Frey, of Tilden, Marge (Gene) Olmer, of Humphrey, and Linda (Perry) Ulmer, of Grand Island; 34 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Gilsdorf, of Omaha, Rosemary Preister, of Columbus; brothers, Paul (Esther) Zuerlein, of Columbus, and Gerald (Loretta) Zuerlein, of Columbus. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert; son-in-law, Dennis Fendrick; brothers, Anthony, Victor, Mark, Sylvester; and two grandchildren.
