Services for Etta Belle Milliken, 79, of Slaton will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010, in Slaton's First Baptist Church with Dr. Cleve Kerby and Jody O'Briant officiating. Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton. Belle died January 14, 2010. She was born in Lubbock County on December 20, 1930 to Virgil and Leona Jones. She was a lifelong resident of Slaton and attended Slaton ISD. Belle married Robert "Bob" Milliken on February 20, 1954 in Clovis, NM. She was a homemaker, an active member of the First Baptist Church and worked in the church nursery for many years. Belle was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Leona Jones; husband, Robert Milliken in 2005; daughter, Bonnie Irene Milliken; brothers, Roy and Joe Bob Jones; and sister, Linda Kay Jones.
