JRB Cooper's second wife was Hester Elizabeth Kelsey Cooper 1870 Marshall Co, MS W T Cooper 47 Mary A Cooper 42 Bettie A Cooper 17 Charles T Cooper 16 John B Cooper 9 John Robert Beauregard Cooper was a devoted son, brother, husband, and father. Two children were born to him by his first wife, Miss Nettie Lord. They were Elizabeth and Fred. Miss Nettie Lord died, and JRB married Hester Kelsey. They had six children: Wilbur, Ruth, Miriam, Esther, Lois, and JRB Jr. He was a Methodist. JRB died of lHodgkin's lymphoma. Knowing his death was imminent, he encouraged his wife to move the family to Texas, where he believed they would have better opportunities. All of his girls were highly educated for the times, each having attended college.
