Her death followed that of her father, Joseph Kantor Sr., by only eight days he having passed away on May 20. Miss Kantor was forty-two years, four months and two days of age. She was born on a farm near Weston, January 26, 1889, later moving with her parents to a farm southeast of Brainard where they lived for a good many years. When they retired and moved into Loma several years ago she remained with them to care for them in their old age. She is survived by her aged mother, six sisters: Mrs. Jacob Waiss of Loma, Mrs. Lawrence Maixner of Bee, Mrs. J. J. Lorenz of Britt, Iowa, Mrs. Louis Mergl of Brainard, Mrs. Frank W. Janak of near David City and Mrs. Hubert Meduna of Weston; also by five brothers: Joseph, living in Chicago, John and Frank of near Bee, Dr. D. B. Kantor of Sargeant, Nebr., and M. J. Kantor of near Brainard. Funeral services were held at St. Luke's Catholic church in Loma on Saturday morning, at ten o'clock, conducted by Rev. M. Pazourek. Eight young girls, Anna and Madeline Waiss, Martha Krenk, Antonia Kocian, Blanche Rehovsky, Adeline Rezac, Marie Kadavy and Anna Divis were flower girls, and pallbearers were Charles Langbauer, Innocens Bratrsovsky, James Navratil, Anton Divis, Lad Kastl and John Kastl.
