''''''''''''''''' The Banner-Press (David City, Nebr.), July 12, 1956, p. 1, col. 7 & p. 7, col. 4 Mrs. Antonia Kudlacek Rites Conducted July 7 Funeral services were conducted from St. Luke's Catholic Church, Loma, Saturday, July 7, for Mrs. Antonia Kudlacek, 85, who died July 4, just two days short of her 86th birthday. Rev. Frank Leiblinger officiated at the mass. The pallbearers were Ludwig Kudlacek, Donald Divis, Gerald Kudlacek, Lad Dolezal, Johnnie Sabata, and Ray Divis. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Kudlacek was born July 6, 1870, in Moravia and came to the United States with her parents in 1880, settling near Plasi where she lived until her marriage to John Kudlacek in 1889. They settled on a farm near Brainard and 13 children were born to this union. Mr. Kudlacek preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 1920. Since 1934 Mrs. Kudlacek had been making her home with her children and she was at the home of her daughter Mrs. Joe Dolezal, at the time of her death. The survivors include five sons Theodore and Edward of Loma, Raymond of David City, John of Fremont and Anton of Weston; four daughters, Mrs. Ludvik (Vlasta) Divis and Mrs. Albert (Lillian) Divis of Bruno, Mrs. Joe (Hermina) Dolezal of David City, and Mrs. John (Elenora) Sabata of Brainard; 36 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. George Miller and Mrs. John Juzek of Sioux City, Ia. Four brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
