The Brainard Clipper (Brainard, Nebr.), February 5, 1920, p. 5, col. 2 JOHN KUDLACEK John Kudlacek died at his home five miles, east of Brainard on Friday morning, January 29, after illness of about five months, resulting from paralytic stroke. Mr. Kudlacek was born in Moravia in 1863, coming to this country with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Kudlacek, when but a lad of eighteen, and settling in Butler county. In 1890 he was united in marriage to Miss Antonia Cernohlavek. Thirteen children, eight of whom are still living, were born to Mr. and Mrs. Kudlacek. Funeral services were held on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in Holy Trinity Catholic church in Brainard, conducted by Rev. Father Pazourek of Dwight. Intermetn was in the Loma cemetery.
