Mrs. Mary Juzek, 82, 424 Myrtle street. A resident of Sioux City for 67 years, died Friday at a hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Juzek was born January 26, 1877, in Czechoslovakia. She came to the United States with her parents who settled in Prague, Neb. In 1892 she came to Sioux City. She was married to John K. Juzek on September 27, 1893 in Sioux City. She was a member of Whitfield Methodist church, Girls of '68, Royal Neighbors Twilight Camp 6674 and Degree of Honor 7. Survivors include the widower; a son, Col. Harry John Juzek of Sacramento, Cal., two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the Manning-O'Toole funeral home. The Sioux City Journal, March 28, 1959 —————— Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Juzek, 82, 424 Myrtle street, longtime resident of Sioux City who died Friday at a hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Manning-O'Toole funeral home. Rev. S. Willard Cunningham of Whitfield Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in Graceland park cemetery. Pallbearers will be Otto Hintz, Arthur Linke, Adolph Kovarna, Harry Kovarna, John Hartman and Ralph Milner. She was the former Mary Cermohlavek. The Sioux City Journal, March 29, 1959
