Bio

Anastasia "Tacha" Correa, age 82 of Ennis, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, in Ennis. She was born on April 15, 1925 in Rice, Texas to Antonio and Christine (Esquivel) Santos. Anastasia married Delefino M. Correa on September 7, 1956. He passed away on May 10, 1974. Survivors include Anastasia's daughters, Margarita Guido, Guillerma Tobar, and Christine Holt; sons, Andrew, Santos, and Louis Correa; brother, Johnnie Santos, sisters, Timotea Martinez and Christine Sanchez, eighteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Delfino; son, Joe Correa, granddaughters, Amanda Rose Guido and Lisa Ann Ortiz; brothers, Raymond, Manuel, James, John, Charlie, and Louis Santos; and sisters, Belen and Santos. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 9, 2007 at St. John Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
