Bio

Christine Santos Sanchez, born in Rice, Texas on July 24, 1935, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 29,2022 surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Cristina Santos, son, Michael Sanchez and daughter, Teresa Wiebold along with numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Alcario Sanchez, son; son; son; 9 grandchildren. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren. Christine was a devout Catholic who loved her church, family, and friends. She was the proud owner of Christine's Beauty Shop for 40+ years. She and her husband loved to travel and visited many countries. Visitation will be held at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home on the evening of Thursday January 5th from 6-8 pm with Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. John Catholic Church on Friday January 6, 2023, at 2 pm in Ennis. Pallbearers will be Michael Sanchez, Marc Sanchez, Joseph Koestler, Nicholas Sanchez, Shane Burns and Todd Sievers. Luis Chairez and Chris Rosenthal will be honorary pallbearers. Interment will be immediately following at St. John Nepomucene Cemetery in Ennis.
