Bio

Homer E. Gentsch Mar 10, 1898 - May 24, 1977 Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Gladewater for Homer Edward Gentsch, native of Corsicana, who died Tuesday in Gladewater. The Rev. B.F. Risinger will officiate. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery in Corsicana. Local arrangements are with Corley Funeral Home here. He was a retired Exxon employee and a member of the First Baptist Church in Gladewater. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lorene Gentsch of Gladewater; three sons, Donald Edward Gentsch and Dwayne M. Gentsch both of Garland and Wayne M. Gentsch of Longview; eight grandchildren, two brothers, Everett Gentsch of Corsicana and Roy Gentsch of Dallas; and a sister, Mrs. Bethel Gooden of Wortham.
