Abbie Lee (Gentsch) Chewning-Lindsey May 15, 1887 - Jan. 11, 1929 January 14, 1929 Mrs. P. E. Lindsey Buried CORSICANA, Texas, Jan. 14. - Funeral services for Mrs. P. E. Lindsey, who died in Lubbock, were held from the residence of her father, J. A. Gentsch, at Zion's Rest, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Surviving are her husband, three sons, one daughter, five brothers and six sisters. The Rev. A. E. Carraway, pastor of the North Corsicana Methodist Church, officiated. Notes: View Obituary Clipping Submitted by Dana Stubbs ------- LUBBOCK WOMAN BE BURIED HERE SUNDAY AFTERNOON Funeral service for Mrs. P. E. Lindsey, who died in Lubbock, will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the home of her father, J. A. Gentsch, near Zion's Rest, Rev. A. E. Carraway, pastor of the North Corsicana Methodist churches will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood. The body will arrive here at 10:50 Sunday morning. Surviving the deceased are her husband, three sons, one daughter. Five brothers and six sisters also survive. Pallbearers will be Clint Washburn, F. H. Washburn, W. H. Chewning, Louis Matheson, S. C.
