Legate, OK — .Graveside services for Joann Vaughan Comer will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2009, at Legate Cemetery with Ben Bailey and Rev. Buddy Jackson officiating. Joann was born June 20, 1934, at Legate, Oklahoma, to Odis and Sylvia Vaughan. She passed from this life on December 14, 2009, at her home. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was always ready for good conversation. Joann was a retired CNA working 25 years in an Ardmore nursing home. She enjoyed doing for others, working in her yard, and would always make a home cooked meal for anyone that walked through her door. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis, parents Odis and Sylvia Vaughan, one sister Ethel Vaughan, four brothers Fince, E.J., J.C., and Allen Vaughan, brothers-in-law TJ Kayes, and Hugh Routh.
