Memorial services for Clara Irene Comer Davis will be Thursday, September 11, 2014 10:00 A.M. in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Larry Smart and Pastor Tim Jones officiating. Family visitation night will be Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Clara was born September 19, 1957 in Ardmore, OK to Curtis and Joann Vaughan Comer. She passed from this life on September 5, 2014 in her home at the age of 56. She and Ronnie Davis were married May 6, 1989. Clara worked as an inspector for Weber Aircraft were she worked for 35 years. She thought most of her co-workers as her extended family. Clara loved to read and often times would finish a book in just a couple of days. She was an animal lover, always bringing home strays. Spur of the moment road trips with her best friend Rita was one of her favorite things to do. She loved to go antique shopping and would spend hours looking for that one item she just couldn't live without. She loved gardening and usually had more plants in the house than she had room for. She was a hard worker and a generous person. She would do anything for anyone if she could. Clara was also the baby sister of her family and daddy's girl, often getting away with more than her brother and sister did. She was preceded in death by her parents; maternal grandparents Odis and Sylvia Vaughan; paternal grandparents O.A. and Myrtle Comer; nephew Scott Lawson. Clara is survived by her husband Ronnie of the home; one daughter Jodie McCarthy and Brandon McMillian of Ardmore; three step children; one brother Odis Comer and wife Linda of Ardmore; sister Gloria Cook and Larry of Ardmore; grandchildren Autumn, Christopher and Alyssa McCarthy, Ava and Chance McMillan, all of Ardmore, numerous step grandchildren, and great grandchildren; special niece Christi Lawson; special nephew Stephen Comer, numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; former son-in-law Sean McCarthy of Ardmore; Dear Friends Rita and James Odom of Collinsville, TX and Tonya Hartman of Jim Town, OK. and her Co-workers from Weber Aircraft.
