Bio
Henry Munster Sr., a long time resident of Pleasanton, Nebraska was born in Bornstedt, Germany, July 10, 1859 and passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Krotz, on May 11, 1954 at the age of 94 years, 10 months and 1 day. At the age of 19 he came to America. He spent 2 years in Iowa, 4 years in California and then came to Nebraska, locating on the farm three miles northeast of Pleasanton where he lived for 52 years. Five years ago he retired and moved to Pleasanton. The last two years he lived with his daughter Frances. On January 16, 1892 he was united in marriage to Miss Frances Hajek of Rockville, Nebraska. To this union eight children were born of which seven survive; Philips of Sweetwarter, Charley, Henry Jr., (Frances) Mrs. William Krotz and (Bertha) Mrs. Fred Unick of Pleasanton, (Helen) Mrs. Ben Unick of Litchfield and (Anna) Mrs. Wayne of Sidney; twenty-seven great grandchildren. His wife Frances and one daughter (Matilda) Mrs. William Lammers preceded him in death. The funeral services were held in the E.U.B. Church Thursday, May 13, 1954 at 2 p.m. with Rev. D. S.
