Many sorrowful hearts and tearing eyes And loved ones, who were brave Saw Johnnie's body placed into the grave He was a friend to all mankind, A little pal to those he knew; But disaster came and claimed his life; He had bidden us adieu. Abbott Lad Killed By Auto As He Crosses Highway Charlie* Rejcek, 10, * son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Rejcek of Abbott, was killed instantly when struck by a car as he and a brother attempted to cross highway 81 at about noon Saturday... Funeral services were held at the family home in Abbott at 9 a.m. Tuesday and at the Catholic church in West at 9:30 a.m., Rev. E. J. Polcak officiating. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery.
