Chas. Prasifka Dies After Brief Illness Charles L. Prasifka died at his home near Brigman last Friday morning, after an illness of only nine days, death being due to a severe attack of pneumonia. Mr. Prasifka was born in Fayette County thirty-four years ago, and came to this section about 1910. He was one of the substantial farmers of this section and held the respect and esteem of all who knew him. He was a member of the Catholic Church, and of the Catholic Workingman's Association. Surviving Mr. Prasifka are his mother, Mrs. Annie Prasifka; his wife; two sons; four daughters; four brothers, Joe, Frank, Ignatz and Will, and one sister, Miss Agnes Prasifka. The funeral service was held in the Catholic Church in West Saturday noon, the services being conducted by Rev. Dvorak of Penelope and Rev. Joseph Pelnar of West. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery immediately following the services. Sincere sympathy is extended the sorrowing relatives.
