W.W. Prasifka Dies Feb. 18 W.W. (Bill) Prasifka, 87, of West, a retired grocer, died Sunday morning, Feb. 18, in a local hospital. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, the Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Monday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Prasifka was a native of Fayetteville. He married Amalia Hromadka in 1921. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4819 and American Legion Post 478. Mr. Prasifka was a World War I veteran. Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Prasifka of West; two daughters, Mrs. Willie (Willie Mae) Matus of West and Mrs. Jack (Georgia) Riggs of West Virginia; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Richard Matus, Jerry Hykel, Raymond Hromadka, Billy Gene Hromadka, Mike Prasifka, Bernard Prasifka. Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
