Maurice Cinek, 77, Dies; Rites Held Monday Maurice J. Cinek, 77, of 316 North Roberts St., West, died at 5:45 p.m. Friday in a Hillsboro hospital. He was a retired farmer and had lived in the West-Abbott area for 55 years. Requiem mass was held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West with Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Cinek was born in Praha and had lived in the Corpus Christ area for about nine years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and the SPJST Lodge No. 6, Cottonwood. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie Cinek of West; one son, Ernest H. Cinek of West; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Mynar of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Pauline Jansky and Mrs. Albina Bartosh, both of West; one brother, J.T. Cinek of Route 1, West; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charles Cinek, Harry Cinek, Alfonse Cinek, Albert Hornak, Raymond Dulak and Buddy Poteet.
