Mrs. Ben (Albina) Bartosh, age 95 of Corpus Christi, formerly of Penelope and West, died February 16, 1997 in Corpus Christi. Rosary was recited at 10 a.m. Feb. 19 in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:15 a.m. Feb. 19 in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West with the Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, West. Mrs. Bartosh, the former Albina Cinek, was born April 7, 1901 in Praha, Texas and had lived in Penelope a number of years before moving to Corpus Christi in 1935. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Corpus Christi and a retired homemaker. Mrs. Bartosh was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Bartosh, who died October 17, 1967. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Victor Novosad, Bill Zatopek, John Hynek, Ernest Cinek and Tommy Patterson. Honorary pallbearer was Harry Lichnovsky.
