Rosie Mynar Urbish, age 81 of West, passed away Tuesday evening, February 3, 1998 in West Rest Haven. Rosary was recited at 8:30 p.m. February 5 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 3 p.m. February 6 in St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, West. Mrs. Urbish was born June 3, 1916 in West and had lived in the West area all of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, the Altar Society, the KJZT Society No. 11 and the Catholic Daughters of America Court No. 829 of West. She married Jerry Urbish in 1960 at West. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1993. Survivors include on brother, Edward Mynar of West; six sisters, Mary Lander, Lillie Hromadka, Frances Chase, Willie Mae Cervenka and Agnes Atkins, all of West, and Josephine Smith of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers were Johnnie Mynar, Robert Lenart, Thomas Mynar, Michael Mach, Raymond Joe Hromadka, Roger Chase, David Mynar, Ronny Cervenka, Robert Atkins and Joe Austin Smith.
