Wesley J. Sulak, age 62, of West, died Saturday morning February 20, 1993 in a Waco hospital. Rosary was recited by Msgr. George Doskocil at 6 p.m. Sunday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 2 p.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West with Rev. Ed Karasek as Celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Mr. Sulak was born September 12, 1930 in West and had lived there all of his life. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, the American Legion Post No. 478 of West, the Knights of Columbus Council No. 2305 of West and had served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Survivors include two brothers, V.A. Sulak of Waco and C.J. Sulak of West; four sisters, Mrs. Marcella Kucera of Waco, Mrs. Clarence (Anna) Doskocil of Mansfield, Mrs. Charlie (Josephine) Young of West and Mrs. Ralph (Dorothy) Arnold of Temple; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Lawrence Doskocil, Dennis Kucera, Rodney Young, Greg Doskocil, Dwayne Young, Kenneth Kucera and Mark Murry. Kotch Funeral Home in West was in charge of arrangements.
