Bio

Mrs. Sidonia Snokhous, age 88, of 107 N. Washington, died Saturday morning, March 26, 1988 in a Waco hospital. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel, West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, West; with Msgr. Ray Widacki as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, West. Mrs. Snokhous was born March 6, 1900 in Waller, Texas and had lived in the West area for 85 years. She married Louis J. Snokhous, December 31, 1917 at West, who preceded her in death February 7, 1983. Mrs. Snokhous was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Altar Society and KJZT Society #11. She is survived by two sons, James A. Snokhous of Guatamala, Central America and Raymond J. Snokhous of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Charlie (Angeline) Sulak of Waco and Mrs. Ernest J. (Evelyn) Urbanovsky of West; one sister, Mrs. Henry (Emilie) Macicek of West; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Richard E. Wilson, David E. Urbanovsky, Ray M. Sulak, Mark E. Snokhous, Charles J. Sulak and Jimmy R. Snokhous. Honorary pallbearers were Frank Macicek, Joe Dvorsky, Woodrow Girard, George Polansky, Billy Dvorsky and Lambert Pustejovsky.
