Requiem Mass To Be Fri. For Frank E. Seith Requiem Mass for Frank E. Seith, 72, senior vice president of West Bank and Trust, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Oliver Johnson as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Seith died early Wednesday morning in a Hillsboro hospital. Mr. Seith was born in West and lived in the area all his life. He attended Leggett school and West High School. His first job was as a railway mail clerk on railroads in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas. In 1919, he went to work as a bank bookkeeper and was elected assistant cashier in 1923. He was promoted to cashier and director in 1924 and to vice president in 1947. In 1963, he was named senior vice president of the bank. He was honored with an open house at the bank on August 15, 1969, celebrating his 50th anniversary with what is now West Bank and Trust. Mr. Seith was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2305 in West, of which he was treasurer for 15 years. He also was treasurer of the KJT Society, Number 31, for 15 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and served on the church committee for nine years. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Pennick of Corpus Christi; one sister, Mrs. Annie Bass of Dallas; three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Walter Kramolis, Joe Stepan, August Grellhesl, John Macicek, Ernest Bezdek and Joe Valek. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 2305, KJT Society No. 31, and employees of West Bank & Trust.
