Wilma Marek, 88 of Lacy Lakeview, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015. Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, September 4, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Father Albert Ruiz officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary was at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 at the funeral home. Mrs. Marek was born January 9, 1927 in Aquilla, Texas, to William and Bessie (Macha) Grmela. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin C. Marek Sr.; her son, Billy Joe Marek; and granddaughter, Katherine Duckworth. Survivors include her children, Betty Scheler of Waco, Rose Duckworth of East Texas and Ben C. Marek Jr. of Waco; grandchildren, Melissa Ann Scheler of Waco and Mary Ann, Stephen and James Duckworth all of Irving; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Wafer, Cobey Wilson, Mya and Xavier Burdette and Jaceyeon Johnson.
