DECATUR - Daniel William Grmela, 78, of Decatur, went to be with our lord Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in Decatur. Graveside: 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, at DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie. Daniel was born July 25, 1933 in West, Texas to Will and Bessie (Macha) Grmela. He served his country in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. He married Juanita Scott on February 14, 1953 in West, Texas. Left behind to cherish his memory is his daughters, Cindy Rose and husband Doug of North Richland Hills, and Wendy Davis and husband Jackie of Decatur; 2 grandsons, Justin Rose and Wife Laura of Fort Worth, and Travis Rose of Vernon; 1 great-granddaughter, Jocelyn Rose of Fort Worth; best friend, Robert Harriss of Euless; sister, Wilma Marek of Waco; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
