Annie Marek Of West, Dies Miss Annie Marek, 79, of Waco, formerly of West, died Sunday, October 1, 1978 in the West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Gene Shepard. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 4 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, Rev. Gene Shepard as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Survivors include: five brothers, Joe L. Marek, John Eddie Marek, Alfons A. Marek, all of West, Frank W. Marek of Waco, Ben Marek of Lacy Lakeview; four sisters, Mrs. Bessie Tobola of Waco, Mrs. Mary Tobola, Mrs. Regina Bartosh, both of West, Lena Svacek of Ft. Worth, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Albert Marek, Alfred Marek, Bennie Marek, Johnnie J. Marek, Jodie Tobola, and Raymond Bartosh. Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
